Cawthorn getting pantsed so far. Would love to see him go down.

Careful with that phrasing, given everything else we've already seen about Cawthorn.

Wait, is the reason the disparities between the GOP and DEM primaries in PA based on the massive amount of Dems using mail-in?

PA also had one of the most extreme disparities in mail vote vs election-day vote in 2020.

Fetterman's getting almost 3/4 of the vote in Centre County.

As I would have expected.

Honestly, it doesn't look like a Barnette win is happening tonight. She's not doing strong enough with EDay votes.

Really hope you're wrong as a Barnette candidacy is the only way Fetterman can win.

Oz is under water with Republicans. Barnette will also likely go on the offensive against him as the GOP nominee. He is a phony. I am not as worried about Oz’s candidacy as others are.

Same here.

Imagine what his favorability rating with independents is if he can't even hold his head above water with his own party. I'm eager to see a poll.

I can hear the "New Jersey doesn't need a third US Senator" ads already

Fatterman is an obese guy who just had a stroke...

I can assure you, being an obese guy is part of the appeal in this not-exactly-slim state

Also, I must be getting crappy numbers on ABC's website, because as of this post McCormick leads with 32% to Oz's 30%. Barnette certainly turned out to be overrated in the end, but the MAGA team spent all of last week destroying her and that obviously worked very well for them.

It's still only like a third of the vote reporting and Oz has consistently been making massive gains. 32-30 is accurate but Oz will be heavily favored in the remainder.

Barnette also could be even stronger than Oz in the remainder, but likelier than not it's not enough.

We really need more of the election day vote in York and Lancaster counties, huge Republican vote sinks that will tell us a lot once they finally report.

McCormick isn't losing much ground as the votes come in.

Yeah it looks like more of the remaining vote is in McCormick (or Barnette) areas and not Oz areas, which are close to fully reporting. But I think Oz will still narrowly overtake him.

It's going to be close, and it's going to be a very weird map.

May have counted out McCormick a bit too soon; I didn't realize how much was out in Delaware/Bucks. Ofc the vote may narrow a lot there once more of EDay starts coming in as it has elsewhere, but that's no guarantee.

There's a lot still out in Westmoreland too, and I have no idea what to expect from those.

McCormick's numbers in and around Philidelphia aren't good enough to hold his lead even if he held the exact same margin in the counties with only or overwhelmingly early votes reported so far. He's also generally losing in the northwestern counties that tend to count late like Erie so he'll lose the same way Trump did.

So I'll just call OZ VICTORY right now. Might be bold but I live on the edge

Yeah I don't know what you're seeing, but this looks like advantage McCormick here unless something really unexpected happens with the Republican votes left in Bucks and Westmoreland counties.

Barnette gave McCormick a chance to win. If McCormick wins this, she should be kicked out of the Republican party. And of course there must be some way for Trump to overturn this election.

He's literally the Republican with the best chance of holding the seat, you turnip.

All the democrats here are praising that guy and if that's the guy people like you love, real republicans should vote against him

I mean, I can't stand any of them, I'm just saying McCormick is the annoying business-guy type who usually beats my expectations in general elections.

It's pretty obvious y'all are pulling for oz.

Whatever happened to the concept of pulling for the best candidate in both primaries?

There is an argument to be made that Oz is the most electable candidate

That might be true if it weren't for the fact that he doesn't actually live here.

Already said this a few weeks ago, but the PA GOP really takes the cake as far as hilariously incompetent swing state state parties are concerned. They officially dethroned FL Democrats tonight.

Don't say that, Florida Dems will take it as a challenge.

I don't know what to expect from the election-day vote out of Delaware county either, and there's a lot left there too.

Down to about a 2.5k vote margin with a bunch of Northampton County reporting.

Fair enough, but it's swung waaaaaaaay to Oz compared to McCormick in both Bucks and Montgomery. Could always be different there but I wouldn't put money on it.

DelCo is probably closer to Bucks in terms of how the Republicans there vote, fwiw.

Given the trend in the rest of the metro, I would assume it would be pretty favorable to Oz.

Those counties aren't as similar as one might assume, but if I had to guess I'd probably guess this.

Again, everybody, don't forget the chunk of the vote still out in Westmoreland. That is a big and very Republican county.

Westmoreland is all in and Oz is only losing the county by less than 1%.

Glad that finally got updated. Had been stuck around 60% for a while. He had been trailing by more there.

Bucks and Delco are slow as hell, wtf.

Still faster than Cuyahoga, where they're probably still counting 2016 results if I had to guess.

Looks like the last of York County came in, may have added a bit more to Oz's total, margin is under 2k now
