I really hope Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke gets in. I think he'd have a real chance.

I as a Tennessee Republican can not support Blackburn. And no other good candidate seems to want to step up, even "corrupt Fincher" may not, but he was supposed to make a decision by last Friday I wonder what happened. But uh, Berke maybe won't win, but he may make East Tennessee slightly more competitive. It'll be within the ten point range, but I still believe Blackburn is going to be a Senator Sad

I just looked Bredesen up. He’s 73 years old. Are there no young people in the Tennessee Democratic Party?

Apparently not.

Interesting article on Bredesen's strategy. Seems like what I would advise him to do, except I'd pledge to serve one term. I think that would play pretty well.

Also, everyone on Atlas seems to have declared the race Safe R from the get-go, but I want to see it unfold a little first, especially with polling. Bredesen is not a fool, and he admitted as much that he wouldn't have run if he thought it was a suicide mission, and he "did [his] homework."

I thought about the same one term thing.
