Not either or, but it really disproves the fallacy of forum self-policing as preached right here:
I don't see much of a flame war. Rather I see posters just glazing over his hubristic Trumpist crowing. Kudos to the posters. This is the best possible way to deal with a poster who tries so hard to generate more heat than light. And it keeps the Mods out of it, as it tends to create a poster climate that moves the Mods more towards the Maytag "men" side of the ledger. And that is a good thing. JMO.
People who argue with ahugecat will eventually tire of his regurgitated diatribe, but what ends up happening is, in cases like krazen or ahugecat, their trolling goes almost entirely unpunished. Said trolls will just continue to prey on newbies who don't know any better in a never-ending cycle.
