When bad things happen to good people, it’s tragic, sad, and certainly unfunny.

Yes, you're more or less correct.  Pete Ricketts decided that there's no point trying to track trends across specific parts of his 77,000 sq mi state.  Who cares, right?

My wife tested positive a few days ago, as have most of her co-workers.  No symptoms or positive tests for me so far though.
