Where to even begin with this claptrap...

Our society is driven much more by social issues than economic issues, I'll be the first to admit that.

The people who should be generalized into voting Republican (Rich, Hollywood, Wall Street elites) end up voting Democrat because of social issues. They're the type of people who adopt 10 kids from Ethiopia and name them Rainbow, Starfish and Moonbeam.

On the other hand, the white working class who should be generalized into voting for Democrats (Mobile homes, middle class, lower class) vote Republican because they find cultural elitism and liberalism on social issues abhorrent.

One reason for this is that the wealthy can afford to be immoral.  They can afford exorbitant child support for children from different mothers.  They can afford divorce because they can afford more than one house payment.  They have the best healthcare to mitigate the social ills such as STDs, chemical dependency treatment, etc.

The working class have to be moral because they can't afford not to be.  A child out of wedlock, a divorce, being arrested for a misdemeanor crime of rowdiness is far more devastating for the working class than it is for the glitterati.  Indeed, having children out of wedlock for the working class is almost a guarantee of struggling to fall below the poverthy line.

Money does mitigate the natural consequences of immorality; that's why they don't want to be reined in, morally.  The can better afford sin.

Emphasis mine:

I do enjoy certain people's use of 'illegal' as a noun, and other de-humanizing terms like 'crash our borders'.  This must be what they imagine our southern border must look like:

That's exactly what they are doing.  They have entered the country in violation of our laws and they have done so by permeating our borders illegally.

That's not OK.  Doing nothing about it isn't OK either because such a policy does nothing to deter more to violate our laws.

I don't think you care as to the burden American taxpayers shoulder in this matter.

WTF is wrong with this loser?

I Love A Christmas Carol in every aspect. I read it every year, which I need to start doing in a minute, as well as watching just about every possible version on film. Heck, I can remember a goodly bit of it my heart.

Sad to say, but I think even try. Even Scrooge was infinitely more redeemable than him.

Ebenezer Scrooge received Christ as his Lord and Savior.  He kept Christmas in his heart thereafter because the Spirit of God empowered him to do so.

I would hope that for Donald Trump, that he would repent of his sins, and keep the spirit of CHRISTmas in his heart all year long.

Of course, I would wish this for any number of Democrats, who are fine with the killing of the unborn via abortion.  Perhaps the spirits could enable Kamala Harris and Liz Warren to comprehend the physical pain the unborn suffer while being killed in abortion.  Perhaps they, too, could keep the Spirit of CHRISTmas all year round, all the rest of their days.

I've just discovered these two posters' entire contributions to the forum distilled into one sentence each within the same quote chain:

it's amazing how the Democratic and Republican bases have become so divided over this incident.

I am grateful for President Trump weighing in on this.

Let’s review the following quote in its three constituent parts:

Hard to believe, but with you so far.

... but Trump has demonstrated the immorality...

Yes, yes...

Fine, let’s try this again. While what happened is unfortunate and unacceptable, Martha releasing this is a political move. Also she’s an illegitimate senator that the people rejected.

She is not illegitimate. She was legally appointed. It was the wrong decision to appoint her to a position she had just lost an election for, but that doesn’t mean she’s illegitimate.

^^^^^
I don’t think she’ll be a senator in two years but why is this a political move? Can she not have a cause that she cares about? Especially saying that it happened to her. She went out of her way to think Gillibrand for championing the cause too. Questioning women’s motives when they come forward about this stuff is why they don’t come out about it.

She knows she is in trouble against Gifford's husband, wants to get her alleged metoo story out on the campaign trail to appeal to Maricopa moderate GOP women. I mean I don't automatically believe slick politicians just because they say something. It would be nice to have more details, and investigation, and actually for her to say who the person is and describe it. Otherwise, she literally could have made it out of thin air. If it is true, let an investigation occur, and the thug brought to justice.

More top-notch #analysis from our resident bullshitmonger:

The Democratic Party is still recovering from the utter battering it took in 1972, when the AFL-CIO opted to not endorse a candidate, rather than endorse George McGovern.

I got a good laugh out of these:

I'm confident that Mexico will reimburse the US for the Wall once it is completed.

It'll probably be done by November 2020.
