Pataki sets his sights on Washington

"Sources told our sister station, NY1, that in the next few weeks Governor Pataki will announce he's not seeking a fourth term, and instead will set his sights on Washington.

The sources said Pataki considers himself a longshot, but thinks he could be the GOP nominee for Vice President in 2008."

Thats what I was thinking.  You know your political career has come to an end when you consider yourself a longshot for the VP slot.
