However, it's worth remembering that at the end of 2010, Democrats did have the Governorship and a majority of the US House seats. Maybe there's still a little bit of swing left there.

Looking at last presidential results that seems unlikely... But we will see...

Gubernatorial elections often don't follow presidential ones.

Probably Diane Black or Randy Boyd, but a lot can still happen

I don't know anything about Boyd's politics, but I've heard genuinely good things about him as a person so if there has to be a Republican Governor I hope it's him.

Boyd is a close Haslam ally and would likely be similar

Considering it's Tennessee, that sounds OK.

(Not that I have anything against the state, except politically.)

Looks like Mark Green's confirmation isn't a sure thing

I don't know enough about the situation to know whether he actually is in danger, though. Or whether this is even relevant to Tennessee gubernatorial politics.
