Senator and Federalist Party Vice-Chair Leinad addresses the convention
Fellow Federalists, first off I would like to extend to you a warm Southern welcome to the Peach State. The city of Atlanta has an incredible history that mirrors our party's history. While we were never burned down in a war, early 2015 had us down to less officeholders than most minor parties can get. By the end of that year we had a Senate majority, and by the middle of last year we had a trifecta in government. Many people have approached me about the doom and gloom in the party, as if this is our lowest point and we will never bounce back. But this is far from our lowest point, and we sure as heck bounced back from that, so...why should we worry?
Under the Yankee presidency, activity has risen. Regional governments are functioning, and while we are still working out the kinks of bicameralism, things are looking up in Nyman, too. The National Security Council is expanding the way we play the game, and with all these people running for President you can tell that activity is making the game more compelling to watch.
Now is the time for the party to unite. Whether you are conservative, libertarian, or moderate, now is the time to come together and back the ticket that everyone in the party can get behind. Everyone needs to remember the date: February 17th, and go vote for dfwlibertylover for President, Goldwater for Vice President, and our many great Federalist candidates running for House! It is only with your help that we can make positive change in Atlasia--it is time to rise up and WIN THIS!!!
