The only Republicans in DC are rich white men, so Democratic by default.

In Seattle, it's a bit more complicated, and I'd say they generally vote Democratic, but are trending Republican. It depends where you cut off the line of what is "poor" and what is "my area." The fishing industry and Boeing are traditionally heavily Democratic, but today fall into the mythical WWC category, and are likely more up for grabs. Logging has been a bit more Republican, but still competitive. Trump won loggers in a rout, however, judging by some precinct results. That being said, these groups are definitely working class, and not necessarily poor. The abject poor/poverty-stricken whites I doubt participate much in politics, as many have pointed out.
