ok, let's play a little game.  pick the best and brightest from among my detractors and allow him (it wont be a her) to represent the rest of my detractors (I really dont want to deal with more than one idiot at any given time), then allow me to face my accuser in open court on this thread.

agreed?

I think you'll find the number of detractors are far to high to narrow it down to one.

ok, then I'll allow two, and I'll even let you hold hands

Oh wait, I know. God loved jmfcst so much that he's experiencing him, like he did to Job.

if you are finished, I would like to commence these proceedings.

And who are you to commence any proceedings?

Breaking news: world isn't resolving around you.

I'm sorry you werent picked as the best and brightest, but certainly I can be afforded the opportunity to face my accuser, no?

BRTD, please tell me you're not applying for best and brightest, cause I'd hate to read your application.

I can't hate someone based on their religious views, no matter how extreme. Though seriously misguided IMO, Jmf has a good heart.

guess what, we're havin' a pick-the-brightest-dork contest, and you just won!...though, I must admit, there wasn't a lot to choose from...but, hey, I'm sure you'll do well to represent your peers.

So...

Q1:  Please explain what your idea of "extreme" is?

Q2:  Do you believe Jesus had extreme religious views?  What about Paul, or do you feel Paul and Jesus were on the same page?

Q3:  In relation to the NT, do you perceive I am teaching something different than the NT?  If so, please enumerate and give examples.

He certainly isn't my least favorite poster but he is quite bad.

I think if he got over his extreme bigotry toward homosexuals and didn't post pictures of dead animals, my opinion would improve some.

I screwed up Memorial Day week and forgot to get a pic of my first feral hog I shot while he was in the process of rutting up my back yard.  I shot him with a .270.  Got lucky and hit the spinal cord and exploded one of his lungs.  He dropped within 10 yards, though he squealed for a couple of seconds.  He was about 12-18 months old, and his nuts hadn’t fully dropped (you do not want to attempt to eat a boar after that age, rather you just shot them and let them rot.  Though, I have been told sows are good no matter their age).  I meant to take a pic and post it on this forum, but never got around to it.  We had our first two meals out of it this past weekend. Good eating.

After cleaning it, I took the guts and the rest of the discards and placed it about 60 yards in back of the house.  The next morning there were about 30 vultures and we allowed our bloodhound to run through the birds and jump to try to catch them.

Speaking of bloodhounds, we got a 8 week old bloodhound puppy this past weekend, our 1 year old bloodhound needed a playmate and our two miniature dashhounds (sp?)  can’t stand him because he is soo big he hurts them trying to play.  He seems to understand the puppy is for him and closely guards it.

Despite our, hopefully respectful, disagreements on a number of issues, I have no real problems with the poster in question.

you dont have to tiptoe around me, bro, you know I have no problem with you

cheers

even though I am currently losing 21-8, I just want everyone to know that once the black vote comes in, I will win this election.

HP, he is overdoing it and now it is just tiresome.

Countless, as far as you know, when I posted the above, I was inferring that I had the votes of the few women on this forum locked up, hence no females would be among my detractors.  But, seeing that you voted HP, I may have meant, as far as you know, that even though there could be one woman among my detractors, she won't be the best and brightest of my detractors...

Losing?  Consider that some of your most vehement supporters, myself included, do consider you 'horrible'.  I would change my vote if I could, however, given your situation of being under attack by the little hitlers.

well, you can't always pick your trenchmates, but at least your not French.  And, just for the record, just because I am allowing you to guard my flank on the front, don't expect me to shower with you back at base camp  Wink

Well I am sorry that i dont try to be a total nerd. But let me tell you, I am quite smart and very bright. Whether I choose to show you is another question. So instead of insulting me when I told the truth, just munch on the truth and deal with.

Relax, it was a sexist joke – allow me a little slack to poke at my detractors, even you.

---

I am just tired of your super religious side. I have never ran into to anyone as ubber religious as you. And you are competeting with orthodox and creepy christian folk.

[*sigh*]  Truth be known, you couldn’t pick me out of a crowd of a 100 in a restaurant even if you tried, even if you were sitting at the table right next to me.  I am as normal as normal can be.  You wouldn’t see me making a public display when I give thanks before a meal.  You wouldn’t find a religious symbol hanging around me neck…granted I wouldn’t be the one with the Mohawk or the tattoos and the piercings, but I would just be the one talking about normal everyday stuff, and I certainly wouldn’t be the one talking about politics.  The only way you would know I was Christian is if you saw me meeting someone’s need.

Not all of us watch only FoxNews and drive around with a bunch of Christian bumper stickers on our cars.  If I want to discuss fishing, then I will simply discuss fishing.  If I want to discuss sports, then I’ll discuss sports.  If I want to talk dirty to my wife, then I will talk dirty to my wife.  But what I will not do is turn everything into religious activity or bring my religion out into the public.

This is a political board, so it should be understood that religious views are going to impact the political discussion.  Religion enters into my politics, but politics doesn’t enter into my religion.  What I mean is that when discussing politics, I may discuss religion if it applies, but I will not allow politics to cut in on a religious discussion.  Even when it is my turn to lead the bible study at my church, if someone makes a political comment, I quickly pivot away from it (or at least attempt to balance it by showing the flaws of both sides of the isle before pivoting away).

Ugh. Will someone please just give jmfsct a 30-90 day ban so he can work out whatever issues he's dealing with rather than playing the drama of his id across multiple ugly threads. Its like watching a car accident in slow motion.

well, don't blame me, I've only created one thread in the last 3 days.

Actually, thinking it trough, he also made seanobr disappear. And seanobr was like the coolest republican poster ever. So, I suppose that makes him even more of a HP.

did I ever have a conversation with this seanobr character?
