I didn't see that coming, but also a chance for a fresh new face. Garlin Gilchrist would be a good candidate. Whitmer could also run, though I think she's more likely to prepare for a 2028 WH bid.

Daines' strategy of recruiting self-funders with no electoral experience to run against proven electoral and fundraising powerhouses is...gutsy...to say the least.

The GOP again tries to fool voters with their "outsider businessguy that cleans DC up and runs his office like a business" nonsense.

Is he the GOP frontrunner? 2024 could yet become another disastrous cycle for GOP senate candidates, just as 2022 was. In some states it almost seems as if they're not even trying anymore.
