Excellent news.

If abolishing the death penalty just saves 1 innocent life, it's for sure worth it. Not to mention the racial disparities in death sentences.

If you use the exclamation mark symbol, you should have chosen a more SirWoodbury-style thread title like "Reaction to Virginia abolishing the death penalty?"

In all seriousness though, this is great news. Capital punishment is long outdated for civilized countries and the risk of putting someone to innocent to death is far too great. It also strikes me as kinda absurd to kill people to show them killing is not ok.

Sir Woodbury only uses "Reaction to X" on stuff that's supposedly good news for the GOP.
