If he keeps up this "moderate hero" rhetoric, he will lose.

Not on immigration, I have to disappoint you. Kelly shouldn't appear as too moderate on other issues like healthcare, minimum wage and infrastructure, which most Americans support beyond partisan divides, but immigration is a different story. If Dems outside blue states and district embrace a too liberal immigration policy, that'll do us no good. We need to maintain a more careful position and better messaging here.

Could point to a lack of enthusiasm, though I wouldn't say this makes the race Tilt or Lean D, despite Kelly's insane fundraising. A wave big enough may very well carry a GOP candidate over the finishline.

RATINGS CHANGE

AZ SENATE: LEAN R >>> TOSS-UP/TILT D

LOL. In a state like AZ, with tons of retirees, this sounds like a great idea... to blow your race.

Still premature at this point, but if Dems indeed keep the senate this year, a large part can be attributed to the GOP nominating horrible candidates. I feel like they're overconfident in almost all their elections. That was different 4 years ago, when Dems often chose to play it safe and nominated good candidates (except for Gillum, lol).

Random thought: this race is clearly Lean D, if not Likely, now... but had John McCain not got cancer, would he have been favoured in this election? I feel like he would have.

He would have been DOA in a GOP primary.
