The DOJ itsself doesn't "lock people up". Professionals in the DOJ, whom will return by large numbers after Biden has been sworn in as prez, should look into potential criminal conduct and go whereever the evidence leads them. Unbiased from political issues, strictly following the rules; neither should the WH get involved (and we know that Biden respects the rule of law won't interfere here).

Evidence to look into Giuliani's conduct is there without a question. If there is stuff to be found - which I'm sure of - he should be held accountable and receive a fair trial. We're a nation of laws and don't prosecute/lock people up based on politics. At least this should be the overwhelming consensus in this country. Sure, the Trump GOP has failed to live up to these standards, but a Biden Admin should. If Mr. Giuliani and others are found guilty, they should of course suffer the consequences for their actions.
