As Biden has said, that's for his Justice Dept to decide.

I personally hope they do, and think our country needs for the Trump lawbreakers to face justice. But I also think it's important that justice actually be just, and in accordance with the law. I don't want a screaming crowd of Democrats chanting "lock him up".

I have a sense that Trump will resign, and then Pence will give Trump, Giuliani, and the gang pardons.

But, there's nothing to stop the FBI from assisting the New York State DA to the maximum extent possible. Then when Biden is asked for comment, he just needs to smirk.

Every single one of them would then be subject to subpoenas by Congress to testify and could be forced into providing depositions to grand juries, both without 5th Amendment protections which is waived when one takes a pardon.

The DOJ itsself doesn't "lock people up". Professionals in the DOJ, whom will return by large numbers after Biden has been sworn in as prez, should look into potential criminal conduct and go whereever the evidence leads them. Unbiased from political issues, strictly following the rules; neither should the WH get involved (and we know that Biden respects the rule of law won't interfere here).

Evidence to look into Giuliani's conduct is there without a question. If there is stuff to be found - which I'm sure of - he should be held accountable and receive a fair trial. We're a nation of laws and don't prosecute/lock people up based on politics. At least this should be the overwhelming consensus in this country. Sure, the Trump GOP has failed to live up to these standards, but a Biden Admin should. If Mr. Giuliani and others are found guilty, they should of course suffer the consequences for their actions.

I would love to see Giuliani, bar, Don Jr, and numerous others of his inner circle. 4 years in the federal pen. As noted, nearly all of them will be granted lame duck pardons by the mango Mussolini, including almost surely and attempt to Grant himself such pardon, which can at least extend litigation of his likely Federal cases for years to come..

That said, I'll be content if we just nail Donnie.

It would be some pretty magnificent irony for the guy, a former prosecutor, who supposedly "cleaned up New York."

At the very least he should be force-fed more of that "Non-fat" yogurt from 'Seinfeld.' That episode has sadly become unwatchable for me because of him.

Biden is careful not to step into this, no Prez candidate has ever been convicted on Foreign crimes since Iran Contra, Trump is more liable to pay back taxes he owed to IRS than being locked up, but who knows what happens, that's why Yang said he wouldn't pursue criminal, but civil charges on Trump. Hillary wasn't locked up either

They should go after the Trump administration big time.  Where did “moving forward, not looking backward” get Obama and Democrats when they didn’t go after the Bush administration for all of their crimes?

Forget it, as stated earlier, Trump is more likely to pay back taxes than go to jail, once Trump is out, we as D's shouldn't waste time on him, but to legislate

If there is evidence he committed a crime then yes.  Being a senile asshole isn't a crime.

Sure, why not.  Never liked him.  Probably Trump's weakest point is keeping jokers like him around.

There should be an investigation, but I'd prefer for it to be done at the state level, I fear that a federal investigation would be accused of politicization by the media.

Yes

Investigate the NYPD and Pat Lynch's PBA as well

Giuliani, Kerik, Lynch, the NY GOP should be looked at for their politicization of the NYPD and other groups
