Dem prez: DeSantis +9
Trump reelected: DeSantis +4

Dems might be locked out from FL Gov Mansion up until 2030 or beyond, because 2026 is most likely a Dem midterm regardless of how 2020 goes. TX-Gov could flip earlier. GA certainly will.

TX-GOV flipping is not happening

Not in 2022, but 2026 or later. I wouldn't be surprised if Dems manage to elect a gov in TX before FL.

Gillum really should try Congress if he's not heading to jail. However with how deep the swamp or in Florida's case the "ski slopes" are, he might just be someone who got in the way and is getting framed.

Ugh, I though this FBI investigation into his mayoral office was just a minor thing? If worse, he shouldn't run for anything.

With numbers like that, not only will it scare dems away from funneling money to his challenger, it will make him an intriguing figure in national politics down the line

FL Dems would find a way to blow the race by 1% even if his approval was 32%.

If the DeSantis approval stays in this range until the next election, which is a long time in politics, and Gillum ran again, this would for sure be a modern Deukmenjian vs. Bradley rematch.
