So the Washoe numbers are included in the SOS numbers, massive turnout today: 9,719. Democrats now lead by 610 votes for the week, up from 231 yesterday, meaning a win of 379. This is back of the envelope math so I reserve the right to be wrong.

Wait, I thought they led by 700 yesterday? Huh

I just totaled each day for week two from the summaries on on Washoe's website, it's definitely possible that they contain errors or that they revise numbers with the SOS but fail to update those on their site.

Live from Dean Heller's bedside, where the life support is about to be shut off.

Are the early vote number in Florida as dire for Dems (Nelson/ Gillum) as twitter is making it sound?
Who on twitter is saying things are dire?

Well at least that Dems are much further behind that in 2016... when Dems were ahead in EV and still lost FL.
Early vote in 2016 had next to nothing to do with why Clinton narrowly lost.

I decided to try to pry numbers out of Washoe's spreadsheet. These may not be accurate because it is a massive spreadsheet, but I think these are right.

13,948 total votes:
5754 Democrats
4676 GOP
3518 NPA/Other/etc

So Dems net 1078 out of Washoe.
I think you are right, though that includes all types of ballots, including mail ballots. The edge I got for in person ballots is 5408 D's to 4291 R's, with 3309 NPA/Other.

Will there be a lot of nasty infighting if Heller loses, amongst Nevada GOP? Apparently a lot of the GOP there wanted to toss him and it was the national party pushing him.
lol and they think an open seat would have fared better?

Registered Democrats up to a 35k vote lead in Iowa, with sizable leads in IA-01 and IA-03.

Has it occurred to anyone that anybody who votes early will not be voting on election night?
You know, I don't think any of had figured out that a person can only vote once. Thank for pointing that out!

Democrats are going to have a pretty good day today in Florida, looks like super high turnout in the counties that are open.

Do we know what counties where open today in Florida? I know not all of them where.
Someone above in the thread had most if not all of the major ones listed.

The fact that Milwaukee is in the same range as Waukesha for a midterm election is incredible. The WOW counties and Dane County always show up, Milwaukee does not. If that holds tomorrow, it's a big deal.
To play the Devil's Advocate, Milwaukee did have relatively garbage turnout in 2016, so this isn't quite as fantastic as it looks. Still, on balance, encouraging numbers for Dems in Wisconsin.
