@desmoinesdem (Laura Belin) is probably the best Democratic political blogger in Iowa and is gathering information on what is happening in Polk. I would advise following her twitter feed for updates.

Worth noting: Clinton won 53.2% of Polk County in precinct caucuses, only 51.1% in county convention. Given how close the race is, it's still possible that flips the state.

Yes, if he gained 2% in Polk, he certainly won the state by a bigger margin than Clinton preliminarily won it.
Not necessarily. It depends how the rest of the county conventions and the congressional district conventions go. A lot can change.

Well, yes, that's assuming the rest of the state stays roughly the same. The different in SDEs was around 6 by the end, and 2% of Polk is way more than that.
Definitely not a safe assumption.

Bernie tended to do best in the large Democratic counties, which have fewer delegates per resident, and especially fewer delegates per voter.
I guess I can understand why you are so pathetically misguided if that is what you consider evidence.

Apparently the official count is 144 delegates for both Clinton and Sanders. Looks more like Sanders is abusing the caucus process than Clinton. Turning a 52-47 Clinton win into a 50-50 tie.

We won't really know how the delegates are apportioned for quite some time. There were 98 other county caucuses that we don't have results for (apparently the Black Hawk County convention had problems as well) and we still have CD conventions and the statewide convention. It really is impossible to draw conclusions from the result in Polk.

This is what a Bernie supporter said about Polk -

I'm here at our Dem Polk County Convention. Hillary initially won Polk County the night of the caucus.

The preliminary numbers are as follows. Hillary 530; Bernie 600. Polk county has unofficially flipped to Bernie.

Hill camp does not like the numbers. They are completely freaking out. The Hill camp changed the rules and ordered all Bernie supporters leave the room, and again and be counted one by one. It's taking a long time. All 600 of us had to leave, wait in a hot atrium and file in individually and be checked off.

Bernie dem leaders told us that she's trying to wear is down. They're hoping we will leave. Many Bernie supporters with disabilities and many senior citizens toughing it out.

Apparently the County Chair had to quit after trying to manipulate 3 times
These lies have already been thoroughly debunked.
