I know it is the home of Dodd, Lieberman, Murphy, Blumenthal...

But doesn't Connecticut scream white privileged Republicans?

Isn't Connecticut the wealthiest state in America?

All the richie-rich are there (Scott Pelley, Brian Cashman (Yankees GM), etc.)

Shouldn't Connecticut be Republican?
For every Cashman and Pelley there is at least one minority working-class, relatively poor immigrant-origin person in New Haven and at least one well-heeled white liberal in Hartford.
