Hopefully Texas doesn't get any ideas from this. The road to victory for Republicans significantly decreases without Texas in the picture.
I disagree on that being a bad thing...

Texas belongs in the US come hell or high water.

The idea that any U.S. state would secede is laughable. 

62% of Scotts consider themselves Scottish and not British.

How many Texans do you think consider themselves Texan but not American?  I can't imagine that number is even 1%.
One of the most ridiculous claims I have heard on atlas forum for quite some time, and that's saying a lot.
