I loved my outing as Quellon but it is a bit too recent - I'll see if I can make history with a success as the Freys!!!

Edit: on consideration of that amusingly poisoned chalice I may go for something more central / completely different and take Varys if no one else wants to?

Did Lyanna survive the birth in this version?

Just wondering whether Stannis married to Selyse as in show-canon, as the turn indicates, or single as in book-canon?

I think that’s the best and most hilarious asoiaf first turn yet, and also the most like real late medieval history (2nd Trident is sooo Towton)

Respect to the Greyjoy, I did not see that coming!

And Dereich: the Stormies sorta joint won the last game, I’d say, under King Edric

I meant 2nd Trident was like Barnet not Towton btw - when Oxford’s star heraldry and the Yorkist sun got mixed up leading to disastrous friendly fire...

I’d rather have a special event!

Life overtook me over weekend but will hope to make up for lost time and spin some webs...!

I'm definitely hoping for someone in Highgarden since the negotiators went all discreet and PM-y on us!

I think I may also be in the running, a somewhat risky turn...

Also Rhaella may be quite far along by now?!

So far so brilliantly and hilariously ironic once again

I have to say this game's Quellon is proving far more ruthlessly effective than my attempt at him so far!!

Balon or Victarion or Euron/Cersei in the air anyone...?!

Very nice play by Dereich disproving his own theory on doomed Stormlanders!

And yes, bloody loved Cersei

Surely after last turn we might need a pause on Lannisters! And I don’t think player characters are likely to be mod POVs, least of all Lord Eunuch I’m afraid!

DKrol speculating Eyrie - guess or ominous hint...?!

I’d rather like to hear from a Greyjoy actually...and or perhaps that most mysterious and intriguing of Martells, Prince Lewyn?

Hm

I vote Marwyn Victarion and Areo for a plush southern and Reach heavy turn!!!

I feel strangely confident about keeping on paddling this turn at least (not to take the gods in vain)

But I suspect our up-to-a-triad of curtain calls will one way or another be very astonishing

I thought the Vic one was spot on!

But as to why Rhaella sent her finest to try and condemn Dayne at the hands of her Storm lord enemies...well, that suggests some very twisty and unexpected deal! I look forward to finding out about both that and Ned’s trial

I wonder whether we were all slightly backing the Barry we know over the Arthur we hardly know, regardless of our political interests...?

Superb Lumine and massive plaudits for the Sir Jeffrey Hudson pic too!

Given that Marwyn and Areo were the other POVs under consideration ...Doran, Mace, or another surprise in the narration like Euron’s coup at Casterly Rock

Or Ned, I don’t think Ashara need have heard necessarily, last minute duel etc

EDIT: of course meant Storm’s End re Euron not CR!

Lumine, you are truly excelling yourself - this is my favourite ASOAIF game yet by a long way so far. I love the poetic epigraphs especially! Every turn is well worth waiting for, and please excuse any impatience - a mere by-product of the excellence of each instalment and wild anticipation for the next one

Real life must always come infinitely first and we are all thinking of you and sending best wishes when not trying to murder one another xxx

Lumine I've loved this game so far, you've been great at running it and writing it. I'm definitely continuing on as Balon!

I wish you the best and I hope your situation improves. I have depression so I understand the melancholy-induced delay and I think I speak for everyone here when I say to take all the time you need. You have enough on your plate so please don't add more stress on yourself by struggling to meet deadlines for us. Run this game at whatever pace is comfortable for you, take all the time you need, I'm happy enough just being able to play!

Remember we're all ASOIAF fans here. as long as you can post Turn 4 this decade you're still beating our expectations for new content lol

Zing!!! So glad we have a Balon
