Which combination of positions is more common?

Personally I've encountered the former far more than the latter.

Option 1 is basically the default position for white male Democrats.

I could very easily see plenty of non-white males subscribing to the position as well, given that under Trump white supremacists who are armed have been empowered and I couldn't see "only the cops should own guns" argument really flying all that well.

Depends on what you mean by gun control , if you men an assult weapon ban or more strict I would say option 1 otherwise option 2

Just broadly speaking i'm thinking in terms of weather people are generally more inclined to favor greater or lesser gun control. I recognize that there's a spectrum of views even within that.
