Atlas is so melodramatic.
No, Trump will not get 80% of the Arab American vote.
Why do you always have to resort to these straw men? It’s pretty melodramatic.
Because they're, you know, entire threads, and people actually believe something close to this.
Not a single person here, let alone "people", believe Trump will get "something close to" 80% of the Arab vote.
The sheer amount of hand-wringing, the idea that a massive swing among Arab Americans will cause a 3-point swing in Michigan, and the fact that a separate thread had to be started even though there was already one about the poll all suggest otherwise. And either way, I'm not sure you're the right person to be accusing others of using strawmen.
It’s always the same pattern with you:
1) gross, deliberate mischaracterization of what the other side believes / how the other side thinks
2) more "nuanced" response when called out for your original post which still includes an ad hominem and shifts the goalposts by downplaying/(subtly) correcting the sensational claims made in the original post
3) gross, deliberate mischaracterization of what the other side believes / how the other side thinks
4) ...
Rinse and repeat. This wouldn’t be such a big deal if your entire brand wasn’t some holier-than-thou "I’m the adult in the room trying to make this forum a more civil place." How about practicing what you preach?
Besides, your response isn’t even accurate — I didn’t see this poll posted anywhere else on this board. (The other threads were not about this specific poll, but a general trend on the ground. It certainly warranted a separate thread!)
