I suppose you as a Dutch have had your experiences with Germans as well? I'm just not at all a fan of the whole "Malle/Ballerman/Hüttengaudi-Après-Ski" (I hope you can understand that) attitude that they all seem to develop once they cross the border and invade the ski resorts every winter. I don't have anything against Germans in principle, just as I don't have anything against any people in principle, but I can't stand the behaviour a whole lot of them put up when on winter holiday.
Yes, I understand what you mean and I understand your sentiment as well, seeing as I grew up in a place by the sea that gets invaded and occupied by Germans every single summer... Talking in German to everyone, of course, and automatically expecting Dutch people to speak German too... But my opinion of Germany and Germans is still very positive, and they are good for the local economy anyway. And the visitors from Amsterdam are even worse.
I have to admit though, you cheese-heads are not really much better
Many people who go skiing and après-skiing are trash though, so I understand what this opinion is based on
I only went to Tirol once, as a child, and the owners of the Gasthof told my parents they were impressed by my politeness, so it wasn't me (A)
