What do the Zs mean again? I think this one is my favorite meme so far.

Also based:

What makes this better is that evidently she's actually Russian!

That’s really weird engine placement on the UAZ-452 “Bukhanka” vans.

New Zealand is now trying to figure out how to sanction Russia as a result of the Invasion of Ukraine per Wall Street Journal from an hour or so back:

I’d love to see NZ adopt the Magnitsky Act. Glad to see that National would support it.

Hopefully, the Germans confiscated it for legitimate reasons such as this oligarch's sanctioned Russian connections & not just because they may or may not be secretly covering-up ongoing great white shark attacks in a Baltic coastal resort town & nothing that they've been throwing at the shark to kill it has been working, so now they're gonna need a bigger boat. (Sorry, couldn't help but try to lighten the mood a bit if at all possible, even if just for a moment)

Prora wasn’t built in a day.

I’m hoping that they sell it and use it to support the war effort or to help Ukrainian refugees.

Here's the composition of the Russian convoy recently spotted in an attempt to fix their garbage logistics

I think the one in the lower left is a Lada Niva.

Yeah, that’s a Lada Niva. Their turn signals are above the lights, which always struck me as weird, but it does help ID them.

Does anyone remember her?

The Russians have invented their own "Putin salute":

It’s rather surreal to see this and “Z” become Nazi-like symbols in basically no time at all.

Ahnold's message to the Russian people:

I like it! He's actually good at this, just like his post-January 6 address.

Too bad Ahnuld was never able to run for president.

He's a Republican

Ahnold was a bad governor, is a bad person, and is a mixed bag as an actor, but he's consistently nailed foundational issues of democratic self-rule and its discontents.

I think it's incredibly unfair to say he's a bad person. What prompted you to say that? I've never heard anything but positive stories/anecdotes about him.

Definitely cheated on his wife and had a kid with the mistress. That’s not that great. As a Californian, I’d agree that he was a bad governor, not a great person, idk about his acting, but as said, he is at least using his pulpit to support democracy, which is more than a lot of Republicans can say and should be lauded.
