Van Buren was definitely FF, Jackson lesser so, and flawed FF.  JQA was average and not that good, so HP?, but split on that. Tyler and Harrison were huge HP's though.

One could make the argument that Tyler was the president most responsible for the Civil War, under the logic that the acquisition of Texas enflamed sectional tensions and paved the way for the Mexican War and the acquisition of still more territory (and thus the free soil debates of the 1850s).

This is a bad thing because...
