It’s been clear the whole time that the task force documents were recommendations, and were separate from Biden’s campaign platform. They’ve never been dishonest about that, as far as I’m aware. Meanwhile, the actual items in Biden’s real campaign platform and proposed agenda are big progressive policies on all fronts.
His website explicitly endorsed Warren’s bankruptcy reform bill. Nothing in the bill includes anything mentioned in this article. I’m not aware that Biden’s close advisors are opposed to this.

I personally have some reservations too about whether he’s progressive enough. I’m pessimistic that he’ll withdraw from stupid wars for example.
