Imagine if the coronavirus had struck 6 weeks earlier, and we were at this stage of the pandemic on Iowa caucus day.


This primary season has exposed in countless, unexpected ways the degree to which we need reform at every level of our electoral system. Nothing will be the same after 2020.

Universal vote-by-mail could solve this. Or if we ever invent secure online voting in the future...
