The speech bumped her up from 5th to 3rd for me, I'm still leaning to a Biden or Castro.

The speech has concluded. I swear to God this woman is going to win it all.

If she does, then we're gonna have another four years of Donald Trump.  Fortunately, I doubt she'll be the nominee.  Of course, it wouldn't be the first time Democrats blew a presidential election against Donald Trump by nominating a horrible candidate.   

Harris has some flaws, but to say she is an outright horrible candidate is ridiculous. I'm giving all the candidates a chance, but you can't make all these judgments this early in the race.

She'd get killed in the Midwest and a Democrat who can't win Michigan can't beat Trump.

Where is the evidence she'd get killed in the midwest? In fact a populist Dem could probably win back those states easily.

But one issues outdoes all the good positions she has!

I don't think there is a candidate who is going to say crime shouldn't be punished and if one does end up saying that then they aren't going to get very far. Without handling crime there isn't much use for schools, especially in lower income areas with high crime. And one thing that should be noted is that Harris is against the death penalty which is something that she got a lot of complaints about as DA.

But willing to put people in jail is bad for the S-avatars. You need to address the root cause of the problem which is lack of quality education and poverty, which her plans would actually do. One issue is not a deal breaker for me and I wish people would realize that.

Idk how she can be “killing it” when she said her #1 goal was tax cuts and not M4A/GND. Tax cuts for the middle class arent bad but we have higher priorities. Overall, its a meh from me, very vague generic “im for good things and against bad things” town hall.

Ideological purity tests are lame.

Kamala based on polling seems to be reforming the Obama coalition at least somewhat. Republicans on Fox news seem to be worried about Kamala
