I think Cullen will change his mind. I mean, who else is there? Nikki Ashton? REB?

I wouldn't care much about Jagmeet's sex ed quirk myself, but the types of Liberals we'd need to win over to make gains would be aghast.

It's too bad that Ruth Ellen Brosseau decided to not run, she has a lot of potential.

Her time will come.
I just hope she doesn't lose her seat in 2019, those Quebec voters are quite fickle...

If I recall correctly, she was the only NDP MP to increase their vote share in the last election, so that gives me a bit of hope though.
Guy Caron did as well, but he's totally unknown.

There's a difference between "increasing margin" and "increasing vote share". Usually we don't measure margin increases, do we though? It's not as relevant as vote share.
Margin changes matter more in close races. It does determine who wins then.
I believe the biggest swing in margin for the NDP in 2015 was Essex, and the worst was Gatineau.

Any thoughts on the debate? It didn't help me decide at all. Found it lacked enough substance (short time, and many questions were fluff), and where there was any everybody just seemed to agree with each other.

I am personally deciding between Angus and Singh. Good to see one of my prefered candidates leading.

Currently undecided between Angus and Singh. Is anyone here willing to try to convince me for either one?

Being Sikh might be a problem for Singh: http://angusreid.org/who-could-be-prime-minister-president/

Only 63% of Canadians say they could vote for a party with a Sikh leader, and only 56% for a man who wears a religious head covering.

And it's hardly just Conservatives who think so:

In 1999, Gallup had 95 percent of Americans willing to vote for a Black president. Im surprised it was that high.

Can't find a non-paywalled link, but Mainstreet has Angus leading:
Angus 28%
Ashton 17%
Caron 11%
Singh 9%

According this article, https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2017/09/22/if-jagmeet-singh-wins-the-ndp-leadership-dont-assume-he-will-be-rejected-in-quebec-hbert.html

There are good odds at two NDP MPs in Quebec could cross over to the BQ if Singh wins. The article just glanced over the suggestion, but it seems like it should be a big deal. It could embarass the party during what should be a honeymoon period for Singh.
