MSNBC is releasing exit polls....47% think the econmy is the most important...with the war on terror coming in last at 13%.

69% of conservatives voted absentee, 46% were the elderly

Romney should do pretty well if those numbers are accurate.

The economy number seems to favor romney...not quite sure about the large number of conservatives voting absentee or elderly voting absentee favors him though...

Romney should lead early, if he does.  McCain will eat into it as the night goes on.

Why...what counties do you see being counted first and why would they go for Mitt?

Mac up by +4.  It's going to be the panhandle!!!!

That should be good McCain country with the veterans.

The panhandle is Huckabee territory, so it will depend where his voters go.  Strategic voting.

Mac at +3 with 19%

Could you really see Huckabee voters voting for Romney...I'd think they'd be put off by a mormon

lol. Hillary is celebrating now. Give me a break.

I kinda thought hillary was a better candidate for ideological reasons...but I'm liking Obama more and more...

I hope he cleans her clock after that.

CNN has withdrawn all of the Orange County Democratic results. Presumably something is happening there.
Rigged Election!!!!

I bet Gravel will be down there protesting that the 19% of Orange County which voted for him had their votes taken away by Diebold, or something.

Thrown away like a rock into a very big lake...stare gravel stare

McCain's got a weak spot in Iraq. If it goes south then he goes south in the polls. I have a hunch that Republicans might be regretting their decision come this summer/fall.
Not sure, I agree that if Iraq goes south McCain will be hurt...but I think McCain's probably the best the GOP can field, despite his Iraq views.

How many of the Super Tuesday states are open primary?

McCain's good fortune could also be Obama's good fortune.
