Option 1, of course.  While I accept the historical philosophical and logical arguments in favor of classical theism, and thus do believe in a God of some kind, I also think it would be for the greater good if it turns out I am right.

Why should you think that? God, if he exists, it seems to me is little better than 10 year old me playing the original Sims on the computer and just watching the various ways they all destroy themselves. After all, I never answered my Sims' prayers, either.

No offense, but this seems like a super simplistic way to look at reality, lol ... there is no meaningful good of ANY kind without the presence of sorrow.  I'm sure you wouldn't give up your life because there are sad things in the world.  The fact that a God might have given you that gift in the first place causes you to reduce Him to some kind of petty gameplayer even though His perspective would be so much more infinitely informed and intelligent than yours by definition?  Sounds more bitter than rational.
