Whether you call the pandemic over or not doesn't really matter. COVID-19's descendants are going to hang around, maybe for as long as humans do.

Yeah, but who cares from a societal perspective?  If you’re vaccinated, you should see those as acceptable odds.  If you don’t, you should quarantine independently and probably stop doing things like drive a car or unplug power cords, lol.

Reported for misinformation and vaccine denialism.

People are looking for ANY reason to reinstate covid restrictions forever.

No, people actually want the opposite. They want everyone to be vaccinated so we can reopen safely and not need to lockdown again. Rushing to reopen is going to necessitate another lockdown.

You sound deranged.

Absolutely no measures should be in place anywhere in the United States where ICU beds aren’t near capacity, period.

I will say the double masking and requiring masks even outdoors in Peru has done nothing to slow the spread there.

Wearing a mask outdoors is hysterical behavior that has much more in common with a phobia than “being cautious.”

I stay far away from people who wear masks outdoors. They're obviously not quite right in the head.

I hope wearing a mask in the parking lot is OK with you guys. Because I do that.
It's VERY important that they wait until they're 2 feet in the door or an establishment before putting the mask on, otherwise they aren't virtue signalling to everybody that they aren't a lib.

In Scandinavia, wearing masks outside has more or less never been a thing (and would look utterly bizarre to most people), nor has wearing masks in schools ever been widespread. All restrictions have now been removed, and somehow society hasn't collapsed. It's really fascinating (and sad) observing the mass hysteria so widespread among American leftists.
Sad stuff. I really love Scandinavia and Finland, but I love science more.

You’re not following science still wanting COVID restrictions.  Seriously, see a therapist, because you’ve wrapped up way too much of yourself in ~taking COVID seriously~.  For vaccinated people who aren’t utterly irrational, it’s O-V-E-R.

Bruh who even cares about COVID anymore it’s been 3 years no one wears masks anymore except the crazies and geezers

Japan full of crazies and geezers confirmed

Certainly better than coughing and sneezing on everything in sight. I'd certainly put more faith in the average Japanese citizen than Red State America. There's probably a 15-20 year differential in life expectancy now.

It’s really funny when one nerd is wearing a cloth mask around a crowd of people who rightfully don’t feel a need to … but an N-95 or you’re just virtue signaling.  And no one cares about those virtue signals anymore.
