I don't expect you to have the same soft spot for it, why would you?
But yes, I believe the Constitution setting a standard model for free democracies for the next hundred years, the United States' historic (and I guess relative) acceptance of immigrants and America's role in defeating the Axis Powers and helping to restore Europe after World War II more than cancels out its black marks relative to many other nations.
