Will be going back to school in the fall, and as of this June/July (depending on girlfriend's schedule ... has an interview in Chicago today!), my avatar will finally make sense!  Lol

My condolences.

Missed my flight, so I'm stuck in Austin overnight.

Just got back from a long day over in the city/Marin County with retromike and Rfayette....I also remembered why I simple refuse to drive on the rare occasions I'm over there.

Y'know what, they were good dudes...even that Republican one whom I had a bit of a schadenfreude moment over when he mentioned working on Jeff Denham's doomed campaign, or that Goldwaterite [by which I do not mean an acolyte of US Senator Barry Goldwater, but rather an acolyte of Atlas Poster Goldwater and rather bizarre taste in weather choices] ocean hater that seems to be confused for creepy...whatever. Also surprised how short both of them were.

Funnier thing is, Mr Denham-supporter and myself, if we debated and someone heard only a few heteredox positions we have...they'd assume he was the liberal dude from California and I was the Trumpist carpetbagger. ...Eh, oh well, in a bizarro world or decades down, perhaps the two of us could establish a sorta Will Hurd/Beto kinda thing.

In conclusion, unlike the kinda "huh, no kidding" kinda encounter I had with Citizen, The Doctor [in fairness, I was at one my jobs so I couldn't really do much]...I'm a bit more pumped to do meet-ups now...I mean, if anyone here is in my area [whichever area I'm in] and willing.

Ramadan starts tomorrow, really looking forward to my co-workers obnoxiously eat and drink in front of me as a "joke"
So what, should they should quit eating just to accommodate your beliefs?

Do you really think things are that starkly black and white? Smh.
Seriously? Get over yourselves. This is exactly why LibertarianRepublican is constantly posting about work issues with customers and coworkers. Have you ever, like, wondered if maybe the problem is you?

Oh go screw off why don't you?
Seems like your customer service skills leave much to be desired.

Says someone who's probably never worked such a job in their life.

But you've always been quite the master of projection.

I’ve worked many jobs, none of them interesting besides my $15 an hour gig at Americans for Prosperity. Who’s the one projecting?

I'm not the one getting in a tizzy about how anyone does their job or what they do at their workplace. And since I currently work a customer service job, I can't be projecting a lack of experience there either. So still you.

I took my crush to the beach yesterday (90 minutes away from Tally!) and we had such a good time that I decided I’m taking her to the mountains near Asheville/SW GA on a whim. She’s down, I got the funds, and we’re heading up on Friday.

Have fun. Asheville is such a lovely place at this time of year! Okay, okay it's always quite nice, but still.

Yeah, there's a reason I don't go anywhere during the day if I don't have to.

This whole freshman orientation thing has been miserable daunting and lonely, if things don’t go well the next few months I might not be able to take it and just join the military or get a job or something, because this just seems undoable, kudos to all of you for being able to get degrees, it is an impressive accomplishment.

Thank you, though I'm starting to feel the same way on my quest to the teaching certificate. Two-thirds of the way done with this program. And yet...

I just signed up for a bunch of classes, and I had done no prior reseach so I just chose on the spot, that were mostly prereqs and just did so based on time and what sounded the least bad, did not look at prof ratings much, so if anyone can give me a rough idea of what I just got myself into I would appreciate it

Art History Understanding Art

Intro to Comm Oral and Tech Based

American Civics and national Gov

Exploration of the Humanities (entry level course I believe)

Entry level College Algebra

then a couple specific college courses which I don't think people would have an idea about.
I can barely manage four classes at a time - good luck man!

Oh sh!t dude, you making me even more nervous now.

You should be, you signed onto classes without thinking about 'em much, and 18 credit hours at that.

Roll with 16 at the most.

As for myself, I'm dreading looking at an email for my test results. 3 weeks ago, I'm pretty sure I got a&*-kicked, so I'm not looking forward to dealing with the consequences of that.

2/3 of the way through, and it's just one f*(king test.

Good news, I made it!

Now for the tricky part of landing a job. If this had happened earlier, I'd probably be gearing up to move to Cypress or Sugar Land or something.

Pre-departure IFE in American 767 biz consists of newspapers... (They do give out iPads in-flight but it's not the same thing) This is why I fly United.

United breaks guitars and doesn't let you do carry-ons on the cheap end.

Also, nice hitchhiker thumb you got there!

Instead of getting a&*-kicked by a test, I'm getting a&*-kicked by these job applications.

How does one gain experience from a bunch of jobs demanding experience to get the job in the first place?

Work study, internships, and entry-level crap that pays $14/hr. Tongue

These applications are for internships.

To fly. To serve.

(Watching the planes go by at the club at O'Hare

My condolences

Dallas is a much more sufferable American hub...though I have still have no idea why they put the state burger chain in the most obscure area. I mean could you imagine In-N-Out in LAX....but only in the satellite? Even Oakland puts the iconic Fenton's in the terminal most traveled by.

my dudes what kind of headache is it when it's like, above and behind your eyes making ur eyes feel like they're gonna explode out ur head.

it's interfering with my work and sudafed is helping it a bit but not enough. I thought it was a cold at first but all the other symptoms went away and now it's just this headache ugh. Even being on my phone hurts.

Migraines.

Just be lucky you didn't eat anything.

Discovered some pancreatitis-esque pain today. I fear I am not long for this world.

Get well. Theek ho, as they say in Pakistan.

Thank you, Santander. Smiley

~~~
Pain has subsided greatly if not entirely, but still went to the Urgent Care. They ordered me to get a test done. This is turning into an odyssey I’d rather opt out of.
Hang in there.
If you want a good and proper flight, you do Delta. If you don’t, the Discount Airlines(Allegiant, Southwest, etc.) are for you. There’s no excuse for American/United.
United has more flat beds, first class seats, and extra legroom seats than any other airline by far. Polaris Lounges are among the best business class lounges in the world. Star Alliance is the best alliance by far. Delta has hubs in dogsh**t cities like Detroit, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, Atlanta, and Seattle. If Delta hubs ORD and SFO, sure, I may change over from United.
The only good thing Delta has is the SkyTeam hub at Amsterdam.
ORD wishes it were d*(hit. Even Midway is better.
Just completed my first week with the school districts. 50 miles of cycling. 30 hours doing all sorts of things, my favorite being the read-alongs.
