I'm too offended by the boringness of Post-Season 10 seasons [with the exception of the first few seasons that came out right after the movie] to count The Simpsons, even accounting for what they were once.

Rick And Morty requires a certain mood to work. It's very much cynical and random at all times. Also, it can take a while to get used to the animation style.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is like the Original Star Wars Trilogy when it comes to vesatility, except with better dialogue, absurdly smooth animation, and the main characters are kids. Hell, the Second Season is looked at the same way within the fandom as Empire Strikes Back is for Star Wars fans.
