is there a fiscal conservative and socially liberal candidate?

Tom Campbell is the most libertarian of the bunch, followed, I believe, by Poizner

Mitt Romney for California Governor- yes this is being discussed.

He just bought a home in SoCAL

Would he start believing in abortion again?

He never said he was a stronger advocate than Newsom, just Kennedy, no?

By the way, Romney 2010 won't happen.  I looked into it, and it got a lot of buzz before Whitman ran, but Whitman is hiring a lot of ex-Romney people (and Whitman was a chief part of Romney's campaign).  I think it's too obvious that Romney would be carpetbagging and will need more time to create a bipartisan image for himself to win in California.  The Romney family already owns horses in California and wanted to spend more time with them.

Maybe later in life, in 2014, he can run against whichever Democrat beats Whitman

Fiorna, Simon, and especially Whitman are truly horrible people.

To complement your delightfully positive attitude, I shall complement the truly great Mayor Newsom.

especially his ability to stay loyal to his best friends

I'm taking a class right now in law school that is taught by Tom Campbell.

You go to Boalt?  We must live eerily close to each other.
oh boo, wiki'd it, he's at Chapman. I once was doing stuff with the Chapman Student Democrats once in a somewhat related campaign activity, but meh. Smiley

Tom Campbell is obviously an awesome libertarian
