I still maintain that the Iowa loss was largely because of Cruz running a great operation on the ground in Iowa, not because of any misfire from the Trump. See? I can praise other candidates.
Yeah but I fail to see how going to the left of Cindy Sheehan to attack a man with 80% favorability rating among republicans helps him, especially when it becomes a 2 or 3 man race

Unless the Trump campaign started internal polling recently, I doubt Trump knows that as a fact.  As far as I know, the Trump campaign hasn't hired an internal pollster and isn't polling anywhere.
He might have information on internal polls to at least from what I have heard from friends ( I know I sound a lot like Marty lol) show the race within the margin of error
