Votes would have been closer, prior to the insurrection my personal prediction was 71-28 in Biden's favor. House is probably 160 Rs or so objecting. Also Senators had signed onto objections in GA and WI prior to the insurrection occurring, so we would have had to overturn twice the amount of objections. Trump is still on twitter in this world, but he would be effectively out of options. Even if he tried to declare martial law, he would find little backing. Pence, along with a bunch of the cabinet, 7 supreme court justices, and probably a majority of the military and secret service were ready to ensure Biden's inauguration occurred. Maybe the 25th gets invoked and Pence ends up as President for a few days. But Biden is still sworn in without issue on the 20th.
