So looking back to the jungle:

Vote by Party:

Republican: 61.06%
Democrat: 34.97%
"Others": 1.90%
Independent: 1.49%
Libertarian: 0.59%

Kennedy got 60.66% tonight. So he kept basically all of the republican vote, and the third party vote went over to Campbell.

Well, here we go!

Republicans: Congratulations! You ran the table this past cycle.

Democrats: Congratulations! Things can pretty much only get better.

Despite signals to the contrary over the past years, it appears Burr is gearing up to run again.

LA will be really linked with the Governor's much. At the moment, its more likely than not that the Republican running in 2016 won't be Vitter.

In the end, things didn't get any better for Democrats (we can't include the governors on this thread)

The only modern-day LA politician beyond a few "some dudes" in the state legislature that isn't pro-life is Mary Landrieu, but even she was to the right of the Washington establishment on the issue.
