Trump administration: We can fire someone just for being transgender

For all the talk of Democrats being "out of touch" or "not caring about working people"... the reality is that Republicans are the party that protects employers and NOT employees. They want to protect the right of employers to pay their workers as poorly as they please, treat them as poorly as they please, refuse to compensate their workers for extra time, not be subject to even the most sensible environmental regulations, and, of course, the power to fire their workers for any reason they please. They also want to take away the employees' power to defend themselves and demand fair pay and treatment, which is why they've launched so many sleazy and dishonest campaigns against unions. If you're looking for a party that doesn't care about working people, the Democratic Party should be second on your list, not first.
