Badger had a red avatar for the longest time, so I assumed the blue avatar was ironic.  People don't actually switch from Democrat to Republican for reals any more, do they?

I have several friends who liked Obama in 2012 and no longer support him.  They said that they would vote Republican in 2016 in opposition to Obama.  I'm not sure if that counts them as "switching" or just being disappointed.  Certainly fewer people like Obama now than in 2012.  Not to say the GOP is increasing in popularity though....
