Wow this ended up a lot more serious than I thought it would be Sad None of you should lose hope! (apart from Deus, because PUA stuff is always ew) Don't think of yourself as undatable, don't idolise people and don't think you have to change yourself to a terrifying extent!

If you are young, and you have both friends and occasional sex; I'm not really sure why you need to be in a relationship. Tongue

Don't get me wrong Sim, I'm not some decadent hedonist like our, err, friend here. I just try and keep all things casual so I don't have annoyances like arguments or drama or introducing people to relatives.

this PUA thing is super weird. Beyond it being super y'know misogynistic and creepy, the vast majority of people can, err, talk to the opposite gender and *gasp* sleep with them without these dumb mind games.

That, and all those betas have a weird hang-up on things like "emotional fulfillment". What idiots, am I right? Everyone knows women are just lubricated holes that exist mostly for a man’s sexual pleasure.

I get the sense with those sort of statements, they seem to believe people will gasp in astonishment and say "Oh gosh, did you hear that? How frightfully edgy! This person sure says interesting things!"; when in fact they just sound gross.

Other potential reasons why Atlasian's relationships end up sabotaged:

- can't remember birthdays or anniversaries, as it would be a distraction for vital info like who won Squidcake County in the midterms 70 years ago or details of an unemployed man from Oklahoma's workout routine.
- cites "fiscal conservatism" as reason to never pay for meals.
- wants to settle for someone with exactly the same PM score to avoid friction.
- unrequited love for Chester Alun Arthur

I always hated the political compatability rationale tbh. I could never imagine dating a Republican. Every single couple in my family is a mixed couple. Seems far more sensible to have the opposite side but to each their own.

TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE IS BETWEEN A REPUBLICAN AND A DEMOCRAT
