No one with the name Castro is winning a election

He'd do worse in FL

Democrats took the Latino vote for granted.....

As Ana Navarro says, they are not monolithic

Also,

If Biden wins, Democrats MUST pass a policing bill by the end of the 2021 year.

Or else minorities will stay home in 2022

I believe the opposite. The hispanic community wants law enforcement to protect their businesses and jobs.

Policing also needs to understand minority communities better, especially Black people. If Biden wins, THIS must be one of his biggest goals

Biden-Harris wins, but closely.....

If Biden retires in '24, Harris needs to do better with black men.......

On ABC News, they were discussing Biden's weaknesses with black voters. As a black man myself, I detest Kamala Harris, and voted for Biden in spite of her. This is definitely an area of concern for Democrats moving forward.

I don't know if the problem is that she is married to a white man (it shouldn't matter), if she wins the vice presidency, she needs to go to more Black neighborhoods

If Biden wins the blue wall:

1. Realize that you need white voters in the Midwest
2. Moderate on BLM
3. Focus on Latino issues
4. Dump heavy identity politics----yes, black people have it hard in America but don't tear down other groups to make a point about it

No, the problem is misogyny. Remember when blacks and Hispanics had a very negative opinion of gay marriage? Well, the same is true in this case. In 2016, I remember talking to a number of my male, working-class, nonwhite colleagues who had a very negative opinion of Hillary Clinton ("b****," "c***," etc.). Why? Well, they couldn't quite articulate it in any rational sense. Yeah, we all get it.

Then it shows America isn't ready for a woman. Nikki Haley shouldn't even consider running in the future either.

If Harris succeeds, she may be the first and last female president for a while.

Moral of the story:

People vote FOR something.

Not against something.

Biden is for moderation, economics, etc

All of my African-American friends hate Kamala Harris for her "political blackface" of sorts. But the problem is the (largely white) elites in the Democratic Party see her and thinks she checks demographic boxes, and decides she's the future. Cory Booker would've been a far better choice to energize black voters.

How?

Load of nonsense. Name me one thing Trump actually campaigned for in this election. It was entirely "antifa, caravans, political correctness, BLM, protesters, COVID's not a big deal" ad nauseum

Even if Biden wins, Democrats need to understand that they live in a big bubble

Dump the racial politics, focus on economics for everyone---everyone

Republicans get a 52-48R senate, and democrats won't be able to do anything in four years, and probably lose in 2022 midterms, and thus get blamed for doing nothing leading to a republican victory in 2024,  lovely scenario- America's fycked even with a Biden presidency, which I expect.

Biden will have to deal with McConnell and Pelosi, or else it is a wasted presidency

Biden President
Republican Senate (numbers unknown exactly)
Dem House

Lots of money spent for little gain. See everyone tomorrow.

Centrism at it's finest. Deals are going to have to be made or else Biden's presidency is a waste.

And Democrats need to vote in 2022 and stop with the purity tests.

Also, dump the defund the police crap.

K friends imma sleep now but before I go a few thoughts:

1. Not the anticipated D wave election on the presidential level by a long shot but probably still a win for Biden. He's probably favored in AZ, WI, NV, and MI and that's all he needs. The fact that Trump still can't count on Georgia (an unexpected bright-ish spot for Dems) and (to a much lesser extent) North Carolina doesn't help either.

2. Legislative humiliation. I'm not sure if the Democrats will net lose seats in the House or not but they certainly aren't picking up an appreciable number as of my writing this. In the Senate, the Democrats are having to claw their way to Susan Collins's seat, which should tell you all you need to know. Once again, I think Georgia might be an unexpected bright-ish spot, but this is a straight up bad performance.

3. I seriously never want to hear another electability case again. Twice in a row we've nominated these ostensibly electable moderates who clearly energize no one after the party put its thumb on the scale, and twice in a row we've been burned. I said this before, but in 2016 Bernie performed well among WWC in the Rust Belt who Clinton lost and in 2020 Bernie performed well among Hispanics who, honestly, Biden might have lost absent COVID. This is just atrocious. All of the states Biden was supposed to lock down were either always going D (Arizona) or always going R (Florida, Ohio, etc.) and a progressive might have actually done better in states like Texas, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Nevada. Suffice it to say, barring a real risk of like nuclear war or something, I will not be voting for non-progressive Democrats for president for the foreseeable future, and I encourage any other progressives or even moderates who want to see the party actually win to take a similar pledge. I'm still going to vote and cure ballots for Warnock (and Ossoff if he gets to a runoff), but frankly downballot Dems are running out of goodwill as well.
You think Bernie would have won?

The term "latinx" needs to never be uttered by another Democratic politician or anyone affiliated with the Democratic party ever again. It has always felt weird to me that white liberals were imposing a term on a minority community which the the minority community seems to have no interest in.
This. Latinx is a stupid word
