Sen. Menendez is not well-liked in NJ. However, he wins reelection by default because of how Democratic New Jersey is.

Menendez will be a Senate lifer, or in September 2018, if he underperforms in the polls, Democrats may replace him like they did to Torricelli in 2002--with Bob Torricelli, Jim Florio, or even Steven Fulop or Stephen Sweeney to appeal to South Jersey voters.

The Queens Democratic Party boss, Joe Crowley, is losing.

By the way, this is still a white-ethnic centered district, NY-14.

I wonder if the NY GOP can take this seat from the socialist.

White ethnics don't like socialism.

Morris Park, City Island, Throggs Neck are some of the most conservative areas in the Northeast.

HuhHuhHuhHuh?

NY-14 is 18% white!!

White ethnics still have leeway around Morris Park.....

I can see Anthony Pappas signs in the fall in the Morris Park/Throggs Neck area......

Y'all think that white ethnics still don't have influence in NYC

Cortez will win, but white ethnics won't vote for her.

You seriously think that the GOP stands a chance at winning a D+29 district that is only 18% white? You're a troll.

She will win, but white ethnics in Bronx will not vote for her. It's that simple.

The Bronx is the most Democratic county in America...

I know. She is a DSA member, so she has Marxist beliefs, but it won't matter in the Bronx. Her type of politics definitely won't play nationally, but she will be a force to reckon with. Marxism doesn't play well in America, still. Remember that. But it is a good wake up call for the Democratic Party.

Cortez for governor in the 2030s?

Joe Crowley.

I wonder who becomes the Queens Democratic Party boss?

He is the head of the QDP.

His political mentor, Thomas Manton, a blue-collar Irish city ethnic, gave him the seat in 1998.

Crowley has been pretty classy in defeat:

Always nice to see candidates be classy in defeat.
