my gut says that Trauner ends up losing by ~2-3%.  if this were a non-presidential year he would win.  maybe.

He couldn't beat Cubin in a non-presidential year, so why would he against this guy?

2008 is a worse GOP environment than was 2006 imo

Dave Freudenthal won a majority of Republicans in 2006
