The fate of the 2004 election rests on the red-hot right arm of Packers QB Brett Favre.  Why?

Since the beginning of the Washington Redskins franchise, their final game before the election has decided the presidency.  Every year since 1932, when the Skins have won, the incumbent party has also won the presidency.  but when they lose, the non-incumbent party has won.

The election will be decided today.  Thankfully, GB has routed their last two opponents and Washington QB Mark Brunell looks done.

Track the game on sportsline.  GO PACK!

Send the Packers back to Lambert Field! Tongue

Go Redskins!

Quick question.

Would rather see the Skins win today and eagles lose, or see the Eagles win and the Skins lose?

Skins just scored, 20-14.

The theory isn't meaningless.  It's happened 18 straight times.

Brett Favre just threw another interception.

Is he trying to throw this game for Bush?

I think he is.

but the pack has mostly black guys on D, so that's good news.

What's the score now? What channel can I watch this on?

It isn't on outside of the midwest and DC area.

I'm following it on the internet.

Why are you two laughing?  This has happened 18 straight times.  You don't think there is something to it?

When Bush loses on Nov. 2, you will have nobody but Mark Brunell to blame.
