For those concerned about their stimulus checks, the IRS Portal is....sorta up.

https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment

Seems to be overwhelmed right now, though.  It's apparently returning error messages for a vast majority of users.

My budget app claims that I received my Trumpbux in the account I got my refund direct deposited to overnight, although I can't seem to log in to my bank's website.

How stupid are Michigan Republicans?

LOLZ getting sick to own the libz!

Went on Snapchat map to view public stories in the area, it appears a bunch of people, including teenagers with "young people against Whitmer" signs have started physically protesting outside the capital.

What did she do even? How could anyone protest her?

She issued a stay-at-home order in one of the states most affected by a pandemic! And that's a bad thing. Because... well... um... yep.

On top of this, too, I'd also say I've been pleasantly surprised that (1) people taking social distancing seriously has meant (2) fewer dangerous behaviors that we take for granted in our day-to-day lives (especially driving), which has meant (3) fewer other trips to the ICU, so (4) the ICU rush has been less terrifying than expected.

Guys, remember when jimrtex was a respected and knowledgeable poster who mostly focused on the nuts and bolts of redistricting? Me too.

We have always gotten this kind of contribution from him along with the maps and deep knowledge. It just hasn't happened on this subforum before.

That must explain it. I was just as surprised as Nathan, but maybe I wasn't looking in the correct threads. Shame. I like his redistricting contributions very much.
