I mean yeah. The Republican party is not even conservative anymore in the Classical Sense. Conservativism in the Classical sense, means to protect the insitutions that we all hold dear, unity, order, stability.

But now the Republican party thinks the insitutions are too corrupt and " Woke " to be preserved and protected. And that's bad folks. Very bad.

It's a Counter revolutionary movement. A reactionary movement.

 Do you view Reagan/Thatcher as conservatives in the classical sense given they wanted to deconstruct the existing  bureaucratic state .

No.

They're Classical Liberals in the traditional sense. Smaller Government. Property Rights. Individual liberty.

Conservativism in the Classical Sense, is Konrad Adenauer, Benjamin Disreali.

I vehemently oppose the rehabilitation of the socialist and communist ideologies - and I'm talking about actual socialism, not "the government doing stuff"...
