Honestly I think Amy Acton would be a better candidate being a doctor she better fits the moment and as a non-pol harder to tie her to DC. Ryan honestly feels like a Strickland redux.

I wouldn't discount Acton in a primary against Ryan. I'd reckon she has much higher name ID than Ryan, she was all over TV with DeWine at the height of the pandemic. And ultimately the target of a lot of right wing angst.
